In the dark of the night,
Through jagged teeth and black swollen tongue,
I call your name.
You cry in agony and fear, as you feel,
my presence upon you.
You know you will belong to me,
in the end,
In the daylight hours you search,
frantically, desperately, seeking a remedy for me.
You are needful, lusting,
desiring an end of your contact with me.
Then the night comes again…
I am here; I feel your misery,
and revel in the darkness,
I have placed within your heart.
I am with you until the end,
for you are no different from anyone else.
I am your nemesis…
I am loneliness…
